LET Reviewers are divided into two categories:
Bachelor of Elementary Education
Bachelor of Secondary Education
For BEED teachers, LET covers General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) while BSED teachers, it covers General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization/Major (40%).
General Education covers the following subjects:

Professional Education covers the following subjects:

• Child and Adolescent Development
• Principles of Teaching
• Assessment of Learning

• Curriculum Development
• Field Study
• Practice Teaching
Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST)
• Teaching Profession
• The Teacher and the Community
• The Teacher and the Curriculum
• Child Adolescent Development
• Facilitating Learner-Centered Teaching
• Technology for Teaching and Learning
• Assessment of Learning
Weighted Items of each area:
BEED Teachers:
General Education – 40% or a total of 150 items
Professional Education – 60% or a total of 150 items
BSED Teachers:
General Education – 20% or a total of 150 items
Professional Education – 40% or a total of 150 items
Specialization/ Major – 40% or a total of 150 items
Passing Score: 113 or equivalent of 75% rating
Examinee should get at least 113/150 total scores in each area which is equivalent to 75% which is the passing rate of LET.
Examinee should not get below 50% rating in any area. Even you got a 75% rating but with below 50% rating in area, your remark is still FAILED.
How to compute the scores:
For BEED
General Education (40%)
Professional Education (60%)
For example, an examinee got a 130 total items out of 150 in Gen Ed and 113 total items out of 150 in Prof Ed.
Solution:
General Education score:
130/150 = 86.67 × 40 = 34.67% (total weight)
Professional Education score:
113/150 = = 75.33 × 60 = 45.20% (total weight)
Overall: 34.67 + 45.20 = 79.87%
REMARKS: PASSED
For BSED
General Education (20%)
Professional Education (40%)
Specialization/Major (40%)
For example, an examinee got a 130 total items in Gen Ed, 113 total items in Prof Ed and 130 in Major.
General Education score:
130/150 = 86.67 × 20% = 17.33% (total weight)
Professional Education score:
113/150 = = 75.33 × 40 = 30.13% (total weight)
Specialization/Major
130/150 = 86.67 × 40 = 34.67% (total weight)
Overall weight: 17.33% + 34.67 + 30.13 = 82.13%
REMARKS: PASSED
